Recommended use by model: – 237892 XS and 237885 S: for vending and soft drink machines. – 237878 M, 237793 L and 237861 XL: for convection-steam ovens, coffee machines, ice cube machines, vending machines and undercounter dishwashers. Reduces unwanted smells and flavours, chlorine, and water hardness, while providing a bacteriostatic effect. Helps improve taste and protect equipment against limescale. Water treatment technology: – Reduction of calcium and magnesium ions responsible for water hardness and limescale formation. – Decarbonisation through the removal of calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate. The filter consists of: – First carbon filter retaining larger particles, chlorine, organic matter and other substances that can negatively affect the smell and taste of water. – Resin filter reducing carbonate hardness. – Second carbon filter retaining smaller particles. – Final filter separating suspended particles. Built-in filter head with adjustable bypass from 0–70%; no separate filter head required. The filter must be replaced 365 days after installation or once the max. output is reached to maintain bacteriological safety. Max. output depends on the carbonate hardness of the water and the bypass setting. Max. water flow, depending on model: – 1 L/min. (code: 237892). – 2 L/min. (code: 237885). – 3 L/min. (code: 237878). – 4 L/min. (code: 237793). – 5 L/min. (code: 237861). Water temperature range: – 5–35°C for codes 237878, 237793 and 237861. – 4–30°C for codes 237892 and 237885. Fill the cartridge with cold water only. Operating pressure: 2–6 bar. Connections: 3/8” M. Installation and operation in vertical position only.
